This Little Piggy Promotion
Because Bank of Lexington is the Bank for Lexington, we want to give back to
you, the community, in a fun and creative way! In 2008, Bank of Lexington
created “This Little Piggy Promotion.” Ten local charities around
Lexington chose an artist to design several piggy banks representing their
charity. The piggy banks were placed all over Lexington encouraging the
community to donate to a particular charity. At the end of the promotion, Bank
of Lexington donated $250 to nine of the charities and donated $2,500 to the
charity whose piggy bank raised the most money! Bank of Lexington donated over
$5,000 to support this cause! The event raised over $19,000 for all of the
charities! “This Little Piggy Promotion” became a fun and innovative
way to give back to our community that we believe in!
Susan Komen Breast Cancer Walk
In the help to fight breast cancer, Bank of Lexington formed a Think Pink team
that participated in the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Walk. Bank of Lexington
supports the awareness of breast cancer and encourages all Lexington citizens
to be a part of the annual walk.
Bank of Lexington’s Community Room
Bank of Lexington wants to accommodate all of your needs! Do you need to have a
meeting but don’t have the space to do so? Use our Community Room! It
seats 16 around a large table, but can hold up to 22 people. A 52”
television is available for power point presentations. A small kitchen and
restrooms are also available. Day or night the community room may be available
for your next homemakers meeting, social club, homeowners associations, or
business meetings! The best part? It’s absolutely FREE! We want to help
our community!
Habitat for Humanity
Bank of Lexington is always willing to lend a helping hand. Employees and
customers of Bank of Lexington’s family teamed up with Habitat for
Humanity for a weekend of building a home. With hard hats, safety goggles, and
gloves Bank of Lexington’s staff and customers worked together to build a
house for a citizen in our community in need! Bank of Lexington enjoys helping
those in our community for a better quality of life. |
